Long Ear Trek at the National Arboretum
25 July 2026 - Canberra, ACT
Join us for a fun day out with your long ears and other long ear enthusiasts. Ride or lead your donkey or mule through the beautiful Arboretum in Canberra.
We’ll meet at Equestrian Park in Yarralumla at 9.30 am and set off from there for the Arboretum where we will walk past many beautiful growing forests. We’ll stop for a picnic lunch at the Arboretum equestrian yards; BYO picnic (donkeys and mules can carry a lot of delicious things!). There’s also a very good café a short walk from the yards. There’ll be lots of sharing stories and ideas, then we’ll head back to our horse floats with a view to be ready to load up and head home about 3:30pm.

DABSA NATIONAL SHOW 2026
7-8 March 2026 - Young, NSW
Join us at the Young Pony Club for this 2 day show exclusively featuring donkeys and mules both registered and non-registered. New competitors and spectators very welcome.
Day 1 (Saturday 7 March) features halter classes showcasing each breed and culminating in Part-Bred Donkey of Show and Supreme Halter Donkey. The day concludes with fancy dress and standing jump classes.
Day 2 (Sunday 8 March) focuses on performance. Donkeys and mules are driven, long reined and ridden. There are trail and packing classes.
